The School of Education’s Erica Halverson and Kate Vieira are two of 13 faculty members from across the UW-Madison campus to receive a 2020 Distinguished Teaching Award

Halverson, a professor with the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, received a Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award
Vieira, an associate professor also with the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, received a Van Hise Outstanding Teaching Award.
These honors have been given out since 1953 to recognize the university’s finest educators. Chancellor Rebecca Blank will present the awards at a 5p.m. ceremony on April 7 at the Pyle Center. The ceremony, sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of the Faculty, is free and open to the public. RSVP here.
