UW-Madison’s Department of Theatre and Drama presents their production of “Julius Caeser,” by William Shakespeare, through March 8.
The play follows “a country riven by polarization” and “a resistance pushing its ideals to an extreme action.” The University Theatre, with diverse and gender-bending casting, presents “an ancient story that feels all too modern.”
Performances started Feb. 27 with a preview night and run through March 8 at the Mitchell Theatre in Vilas Hall. Tickets are $25 for the public, $20 for seniors and UW-Madison faculty/staff, and $15 for students. Tickets can be purchased online.
